The drought in Northern California has been quite problematic for honeybees. Last year, the bees produced a small amount of honey, but we left it in the hives to help them overwinter.
This year, it is a completely different story! Last weekend, we harvested honey and packaged about 40 gallons into 4 ounce, 8 ounce, 12 ounce, and 16 ounce jars. This week, we will label the jars.
We will be selling our local Santa Cruz Mountains Raw Wildflower Honey at Villa del Monte Winery in Los Gatos from noon to 5 pm on July 25 and 26. Send us an email if you want us to hold a jar for you to pick up at the winery.
